Bio

Hello.

Thank you for your interest in my short stories.

I’ve always been a writer — first as a copywriter, writer/producer and creative director at Kansas City and Omaha advertising agencies. Then as a brand management professional with two Fortune 500 enterprises, one in financial services and the other in telecommunications. I enjoyed my career in advertising and marketing. But I’ve left all of that behind.

Today, I write fiction. No, I’m not making any money at it. But that’s okay. I’m having a good deal more fun.

My short stories have appeared in Main Street Rag, Talking River Review, Freshwater Literary Review, Flash Fiction Magazine, and other publications.

I feel like I’m back in grad school, where I earned an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and loitered for so many hours in the artistic dens of Dinkytown. Or even back in my scruffy-looking days at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, where I earned a B.A. in English Literature.

Born and raised in Kansas City, today I live in Omaha, Nebraska, and am at work on a collection of stories.
